Got a ‘picky’ eater?

Or simply want to improve your child’s food choices?

Meet Wholefoods for Wholekids®, our new nutrition education program helping kids explore where real food comes from and why it matters.

Wholefoods for Wholekids® has been created by a qualified Nutritionist, Emma Dean, who after many years supporting families in clinical practice, including neurodiverse kids with food behaviour coaching, saw firsthand that something was missing: a way for busy parents to maintain momentum between nutrition appointments and keep costs down.

As a mum herself, Emma also understands the real-life pressure of consistently making healthy food while navigating jobs, busy family schedules and the increasing availability of ultra-processed foods.

Emma believes prevention is better than cure and is passionate about bringing our kids back to wholefood ecosystems, community-based nutrition and empowering families to have their own affordable coaching tools.

Proudly made by humans for humans, Wholefoods for Wholekids® uses engaging visual concepts, guided activities, and real-world examples to help kids explore more than nutrition basics. Wholefoods for Wholekids® gives families an easy-to-follow toolkit using Emma’s tried and tested C.A.R.E. method to introduce the following additional healthy eating foundations:

wholefood ecosystems

personal goals & our value in food

digestion, gut health & the microbiome

how our body communicates with us

sensory preferences & aversions

influences to food choices

navigating food labels & tricky marketing

ultra-processed foods (UPFs)

meal planning as a family

What does C.A.R.E Stand for? Every activity in Wholefoods for Wholekids® has a key Concept that is introduced, followed by an Activity to practise with, a Resource to refer to, and provides other ideas on how to Explore further, together, so that you can build healthy eating foundations for life!
