Have some questions about our new healthy eating program?

  • Wholefoods for Wholekids is currently designed for pre-school and primary school aged children. However, there are many concepts and activities that can be used to support older kids. Emma has worked with teens in clinical practice, so if you are unsure simply contact her for a chat.

  • Emma believes in setting your family up for long term success. The C.A.R.E. method is based on ensuring there is a structure behind each concept, that embeds the learning into everyday life. Every activity in Wholefoods for Wholekids® has a key Concept that is introduced, followed by an Activity to practise with, a Resource to refer to, and provides other ideas on how to Explore further, together, so that you can build healthy eating foundations for life!

  • The online program will have a structured format to easily guide you through each key concept with short instructional videos and lifetime access to downloadable PDFs following our C.A.R.E. method. You can also book a 1:1 with Emma if extra support is required or you wish to receive personalised nutrition guidance for your child. Follow us on Instagram @wholefoods_for_wholekids to get a feel for the graphics, free insights and know when the launch happens.

  • The online delivery method will be available early 2026 as we know term 4 and Christmas is a juggle for most families! However, we will be holding some fantastic workshops for families in Northern Rivers. Follow our Instagram page @wholefoods_for_wholekids to stay up to date with events.

  • Yes! This program isn’t specific to any particular diet, medical condition, eating style or age-related nutrient reference ranges.  It can be used as a ‘how to’ guide, alongside your Dietician’s guidance, forming part of a shared care support team, helping you maintain momentum while implementing their nutritional guidelines. If you are unsure, please don’t hesitate to contact Emma for a chat, and she will happily speak to your Dietician or health care specialist.

  • Yes, the program is based on non-specific dietary advice so it can be used by all families. Some of the activities are great resources for finding alternatives in various food groups, while also helping kids learn how to recognise body signs that may signal food intolerances or allergies.

  • This program teaches the importance of all food groups, a varied diet, feeding your microbiome and making healthier choices.  You can tailor the activities to suit any eating style your family is currently following. Alternatively, you may choose to book a 1:1 with Emma while using this program to adapt any activities to suit your family’s dietary preferences.

  • You sure can! Any caregiver can use this program with your child. In fact, the more people around your child who use this program the better, they will have greater continuity of care and consistency around the healthy eating foundations that we are building. Emma is experienced working with NDIS families and support workers.  Check with your NDIS plan manager or service coordinator and book a 1:1 with Emma and your care team, she can take them through the program and how to get the most out of it for your family.

  • Absolutely!  Emma encourages you to work together as a family, sharing the journey and exploring foods together. Modelling is one of the best ways for kids to learn.

  • Emma gets this. life is busy for many working parents. Any caregiver can use this program with your child.  Grandparents, relatives, even older siblings! As an alternative, Emma has worked with many families via video call where she is taking the child through each activity and could do this for you, but honestly, it is much better and more meaningful when done in person, by a caregiver that the child values and can model with continuity.  Another possible solution could be speaking with your pre-school or day care provider to look at arranging a group workshop. Contact Emma to chat about possible solutions to best suit your family.

  • Emma is able to provide deeper nutritional support through personalised consultations, where she will review dietary intake, digestive function, help you identify intolerances and allergies, fine-tune meal planning, improve gut health, and if needed support you with functional testing, supplements and referrals to other health care professionals.
